Last Class!!

Today, Tuesday 14th June 2011, is the last class of the year.

This year i've leant lots of new things, places to travel, english words and expressions....and how tu use gimp or to make project in Google Sketchup.

I thing this year it was very productive and i will continue learning new technics about working with computers.

Dubai travel guide.

Jandro and I have developed a travel plan, luxurious which you will enjoy your perfect holiday:

First of all, we'll take the flight from El Prat Airport, Barcelona at 11:05, to Dubai, and we are going to arrive about 6:45.We will take a taxi by 7:15 and at 8, we will arrive to the hotel.

The hotel is called Jumeirah Beach. We will stay for 6 nights for the price of 1.571€.

In the first day, we will go to the beach and relax a bit. We will have lunch at the hotel and in the afternoon visit the downtown and have dinner in the luxorious restaurant, Verre.

In our second day we will spend the whole day in Wild Wadi, for have a great adventure.

In the third day we will go to the Palm Beach and rent a Hobbycat. After that and have lunch in the hotel we will go to have some asian massages for relax.

In the fourth day, we will take a taxi to go to the Ski Dubai, where we will ski a bit and enjoy the snow. In the afternoon we will visit the Jebel Ali, the biggest handmade port in the world and have dinner in the harbor.

On the fifth day, we will do some tourism: visit the palm islands, some monuments, the city... and then relax a bit in the swimming pool of hotel.

In our last day, we will stay the morning in the hotel, and in the afternoon we will go to buy some souvenirs at the biggest mall in the world, the Dubai Mall.

There are also cultural places like the Theatre center of Chicago and lots of Universities.

Chicago has one of the tallests buildings of the world, the Sears Tower.

A PC tablet is a portable personal computer formed by a touchscreen and the base and other botons. Tablets use virtual keyboards input through the touchscreen.
All tablet personal computers have a wireless adapter for Internet and local network connection.

The majority of the tablets includes lots of applications( weather, time, pictures, videos, games...)

The tablets are very usefull for people that it works in different places, but it's conectacions aren't very quickly and it's easy to broke.

-I think that apple had a very good system and the computer cannot have virus.

-I like very much all the design of this brand.

-It's a very reconized company and it's products are very usefull.

Cons:

-I think that the prizes of their products are very expensives.

-In computers it's a very closed brand and you can't install Microsoft programs.

-The programs of theirs computers are only for the Apple computers; you can't run on a Microsoft computer one document made it in an Apple.

In my opinion virus is a stupid computer program that it's created by bored people. Virus can be very dangerous like:

-Trojans

-Worms

-Macros.

Created by profesional hackers or virus can be only little problems that affect to your computer.

The only thing that i think the virus are usefull for some companies for destroy other competitors companies or can be also usefull for the companies of antivirus, because the want to solt the major number of their products.

The antivirus are a very good solution for computer protection of virus. The most famous antivirus are:

I think that music can be very usefull for people but i think that its normal that musicians are against the piratery, because they lose money. In my opinion is not completly bad for them because they also make publicity about them and their music.

My conclusion is that music should be possible to download it because the artist had so much money onle with the CD, and the win a lot of publicity.

PROS OF BLUETOOTH

-It is a totally wireless device.
-You are no need to carry several kinds of connecting cables with you when traveling.
-It is inexpensive now. You could use less than 15 dollars to buy one now.

CONS OF BLUETOOTH

-Bluetooth is not very safe.
-The limit of the connection it's of 100 metres long.
-The slow speed of transmision.

Russia has suggested that Julian Assange should be awarded the Nobel peace prize, in an unexpected show of support from Moscow for the jailed WikiLeaks founder.

In what appears to be a calculated dig at the US, the Kremlin yesterday urged non-governmental organisations to think seriously about "nominating Assange as a Nobel Prize laureate".

"Public and non-governmental organisations should think of how to help him," the source from inside president Dmitry Medvedev's office told Russian news agencies. Speaking in Brussels, where Medvedev was attending a Russia-EU summit yesterday , the source went on: "Maybe, nominate him as a Nobel Prize laureate."

Russia's reflexively suspicious leadership appears to have come round to WikiLeaks, having decided that the ongoing torrent of disclosures are ultimately far more damaging and disastrous to America's long-term geo-political interests than they are to Russia's.

The Kremlin's initial reaction to stories dubbing Russia a corrupt "mafia state" and kleptocracy was, predictably, negative. Last week Medvedev's spokesman dubbed the revelations "not worthy of comment" while Putin raged that a US diplomatic cable comparing him to Batman and Medvedev to Robin was "arrogant" and "unethical". State TV ignored the claims.

Subsequent disclosures, however, that Nato had secretly prepared a plan in case Russia invaded its Baltic neighbours have left the Kremlin smarting. Today Russia's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov said Nato had to explain why it privately considered Russia an enemy while publicly describing it warmly as a "strategic partner" and ally.

Nato should make clear its position on WikiLeaks cables published by the Guardian alleging the alliance had devised plans to defend Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia against Russia, Lavrov said.

"With one hand, Nato seeks agreement with us on joint partnership, and with the other, it makes a decision that it needs to defend. So when is Nato more sincere?" Lavrov asked today. "We have asked these questions and are expecting answers to them. We think we are entitled to that."

Lavrov said his attitude towards the leaked US state department cables was "philosophical". "It is interesting to read, including what ambassadors write to provide a stream of information to their capitals," he admitted.

Dmitry Rogozin, Russia's hardline ultra-nationalist ambassador to Nato, also today voiced his support for the embattled Assange. He tweeted that Assange's arrest and incarceration on Monday at the City of Westminster magistrates' court demonstrated that there was "no media freedom" in the west. Assange's "fate" amounted to "political persecution" and a lack of human rights, the ambassador said.

In London, meanwhile, Russia's chargé d'affaires and acting ambassador in the UK, Alexander Sternik, said relations with Britain had improved since the coalition came to power. He complained, however, about the hostile reaction in the British media after Fifa's executive committee voted that Russia – and not England – should host the 2018 World Cup.

In a briefing to journalists this morning, Sternik said: "While the English bid was technically a strong one, the Russian bid was in line with the well-known Fifa philosophy of opening new frontiers for world football. The vote result was therefore quite logical, and while the disappointment of many in England is understandable, the media outrage was a step too far. It's not cricket, as the English say."

Actually, Google has been very critiqued by people in all over the world.

I think this page is very useful and realible but sometimes the information can be dangerous.
I think that this page can make difference in the world becaus de informations of the wars, the armies...
The effect that the information can do it depends of the people but i think that it can make more harm than good.
